Overview

Awesome Planet is a short film in The Land pavilion focused on the beauty of Earth and the importance of protecting it. It is one of EPCOT’s more modern educational films and fits the park’s conservation and science themes well.

The Queue

There is not much of a true queue experience here, but being inside The Land pavilion already sets the tone well. It feels more like entering a pavilion theater than gearing up for a major attraction, which suits the film’s more reflective tone.

The Show

Disney describes Awesome Planet as a 10-minute film with in-theater effects including wind, scents, and water, created in partnership with the Disney Conservation Fund. It is more sensory and immersive than an old-school educational film but still calm overall.
