📍 Location:

LEGOLAND Florida Theme Park — By Lake Eloise

👣 Experience

This is the calm, beautiful side of LEGOLAND—historic gardens you can stroll through when you need a breather from rides and crowds. It’s scenic, shady in spots, and feels like a totally different pace than the rest of the park.

The Good

✔ A true “reset” area (quiet, relaxing, low stimulation)

✔ Great for grandparents and anyone who needs slower moments

✔ Gorgeous photo backdrops (it doesn’t feel like a theme park)

✔ A cool way to experience the park’s history

⚠️ The Not-So-Good

❌ Easy to skip if you’re on a ride-focused day

❌ Some paths can feel long in Florida heat

❌ Not much “activity” for kids who only want rides

📊 Info

Type: Botanical garden stroll / scenic area

Best For: Chill breaks, nature lovers, photo moments

Warnings: Heat/sun exposure, lots of walking (pace yourself)

💡 OIC Tips

✔ Do this mid-day when everyone needs a quiet break

✔ If you’re doing photos, golden hour here is chef’s kiss

🎯 OIC Bottom Line

If your day needs a calm chapter, Cypress Gardens is the move—quiet, beautiful, and a nice reminder that LEGOLAND is more than rides.

Mandi's Take

These gardens are beautiful to walk through! Though during the heat of the day getting to the main part of the gardens can be toasty, it is worth it. Seeing the historical gazeebo, and walking under the nearly 100 year old Banyan Tree is incredible. When I was a kid, the entire park was called Cypress Gardens, and even though these gardens do no match the LEGOLAND Theme, allowing them to stay and thrive gives this park a very unique attribute, and I love it!
