First Order Searches for the Resistance is one of those small Galaxy's Edge experiences that many guests accidentally stumble into without even realizing it is scheduled entertainment. Throughout the day, First Order officers and stormtroopers patrol Batuu searching for Resistance sympathizers, questioning guests, and bringing a little extra Star Wars tension into the land. Instead of feeling like a traditional stage show, the experience blends directly

into the environment around you. One minute you are walking through Black Spire Outpost and the next a stormtrooper is suddenly staring directly at someone in the crowd 😅 The interaction helps Galaxy's Edge feel more alive and makes the land feel less like a theme park and more like a place where something is actively happening around you. ⭐🚀

Experience

The experience works more like roaming entertainment than a scheduled attraction. First Order officers and stormtroopers march through Galaxy's Edge while searching for Resistance activity and questioning guests nearby. The interactions stay playful and family-friendly while still making the First Order feel intimidating enough to fit the story of Batuu. Since the performances move throughout the land, every interaction feels slightly different depending on where you encounter them and how the crowd reacts. Kids especially tend to love or fear the stormtroopers depending on the moment 😅

Atmosphere

This experience adds a huge amount of atmosphere to Galaxy's Edge. Seeing stormtroopers casually walking through Batuu instantly makes the land feel more immersive. Their presence changes the energy around nearby guests as people stop for photos, interactions, or nervous laughs when officers begin questioning the crowd. The entire thing feels very natural inside Galaxy's Edge and helps blur the line between entertainment and environment.

🌟 Final Thoughts

First Order Searches for the Resistance is a great example of Disney using smaller entertainment moments to make a land feel immersive. It may not be a headline attraction, but the roaming stormtroopers and First Order officers add personality and energy that help Galaxy's Edge feel like an actual living Star Wars location instead of just a collection of rides. ⭐✨
