📍 Location:

LEGOLAND Florida Theme Park — LEGO® City

👣 Ride Experience

Little drivers (ages 3–5) weave through an oval course in mini cars. It’s adorable, confidence-boosting, and taken very seriously by the kids.

The Good

✔ One of the cutest “kid milestone” experiences in the park

✔ Feels interactive and independent for preschoolers

✔ Great photo/video opportunity

✔ A fun break from rides that are “too big” for little ones

✔ Pure LEGO City energy

⚠️ The Not-So-Good

❌ Waits can be long because it’s a top kid pick

❌ Not for kids who hate waiting or following directions

❌ Some kids get nervous if they’re not confident steering

❌ Adults can’t ride—so you’ll be watching from the side

📊 Ride Info

Age Requirement: Ages 3–5

Height Requirement: No height requirement listed for Jr. Driving School

Intensity: 2/10

Ride Type: Kid driving experience

Best For: Preschoolers, “I want to drive!” kids

Not Ideal For: Kids who get overwhelmed by waiting or steering tasks

Accessibility:

  • Must be able to transfer to the ride vehicle

  • Riders must be able to drive their car and must not be visually impaired

⚠️ Warnings:

  • Patience may be required (popular attraction)

  • Outdoor heat while waiting can be rough on little ones

💡 OIC Tips

✔ Do this earlier in the day when kids have the most patience

✔ Bring water/snack support for the wait

✔ Give a quick “practice steering” pep talk before they start

✔ If your kid melts down easily, save this for a low-crowd time

🎯 OIC Bottom Line

If you have ages 3–5, this is a LEGOLAND core memory—worth planning around when your little driver is at their best.
