LEGOLAND® Build-A-Boat

Experience

A hands-on, land-based activity where kids build LEGO boats and race them down water channels — it’s part build table, part friendly competition, part “parents finally get a minute.”

⭐ The Good

✔ No swimming required — it’s a “dry-ish” attraction

✔ Great for ages 2–12 (especially builders who need a slide break)

✔ Easy to do while siblings rotate nearby attractions

⚠️ The Not-So-Good

❌ Competitive kids may get a little salty when their boat… sinks instantly 😅

❌ Not a “cool off” activity if you’re overheating — it’s more play than soak

📊 Attraction Info + Warnings

Location: Creative Cove

Type: Land-based build + water race channels

Intensity: 1/5

Warnings:

  • This attraction is not open year-round (check the water park calendar)

  • Expect splashes near the race lanes (phones should be secured)

💡 OIC Tips

✔ Build a wider base first — speed is cool, but floating is cooler

✔ Let kids test quick, then tweak and rebuild (that’s the fun)

🎯 OIC Bottom Line

A perfect “brain break” between wet rides — especially for LEGO-loving kids who want to build, not just splash.
