If EPCOT had a nighttime soul, it would live here. Plaza de los Amigos is the Mexico Pavilion’s indoor market — a twilight village lit by lanterns, filled with vibrant colors, handcrafted goods, and the sound of mariachi music drifting through the air.

🛍️ The Experience

Plaza de los Amigos is one of EPCOT’s most immersive shopping environments. Browse stalls selling hand-carved wooden animals, embroidered clothing, Dia de los Muertos décor, jewelry, pottery, woven goods, and cultural art. The atmosphere is warm, bustling, and beautifully atmospheric — it always feels like a festival inside.

📍 The Location

Inside the Mexico Pavilion pyramid, beneath the starry nighttime ceiling.

👍 The Good

  • One of EPCOT’s most beautifully themed shopping areas

  • Wide mix of handmade goods and cultural décor

  • Perfect place for unique souvenirs

  • Air-conditioned and immersive

👎 The Not-So-Good

  • Can get crowded due to ride and restaurant traffic

  • Some items are fragile

  • Layout is maze-like (easy to miss things!)

💡 Tips

  • Walk the entire loop — many guests miss the back vendors

  • Handmade wooden figures make fantastic keepsakes

  • Come during early afternoon for lighter crowds

Final Thoughts

Plaza de los Amigos is EPCOT magic — atmospheric, cultural, and unforgettable.
