Overview

Soarin’ Around the World is an airy, scenic flight simulator that lifts guests into the air on a hang-gliding journey over famous global landmarks. It is one of EPCOT’s most relaxing thrill-adjacent rides, combining gentle excitement with sweeping visuals. *This current version runs through May 13, 2026, before Soarin’ Across America debuts on May 26, 2026.

📍 The Location

Inside The Land Pavilion in World Nature, on the lower level.

The Queue

The queue inside The Land Pavilion has a calm, travel-focused energy that fits the ride well. It is not the flashiest line in the park, but it helps build anticipation for the sensation of flight rather than telling a dense story.

The Ride

Guests board a multi-passenger glider and are lifted high into the air (30-50 feet, depending on the row, with row 3 being the shortest height) for a sweeping aerial journey across global scenery. The ride is gentle compared to a coaster, but the height, motion, and large screen create a convincing sense of soaring that still feels exciting.
