Just steps from Frozen Ever After is one of EPCOT’s quietest treasures — the Stave Church Gallery, a small, museum-like exhibit celebrating Norse culture, mythology, and real Viking history.

🖼️ The Experience

Inside this beautifully carved wooden chapel, you’ll find artifacts, displays, and stories that inspired parts of Disney’s Frozen — all grounded in real Scandinavian culture. It’s calm, atmospheric, and surprisingly fascinating if you love history.

📍 The Location

In the center of the Norway Pavilion, just off the main walking path.

👍 The Good

  • Quiet and peaceful

  • Beautiful architecture

  • Short, educational, and easy to explore

  • Great AC on hot days

👎 The Not-So-Good

  • Very small space

  • Not ideal for kids who want more hands-on activities

  • Easy to miss if you’re rushing to Frozen Ever After

💡 Tips

  • Step inside right after Frozen — the contrast is perfect

  • Great for taking a breather during crowded afternoons

ℹ️ Info

💲 Price: Free with admission

♿ Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible

Final Thoughts

Stave Church Gallery is a quiet Nordic gem — thoughtful, beautiful, and the perfect cultural touch to balance the Frozen frenzy.
