Gatorland is home to thousands of gators and crocs.
A giant gator head welcomes you to begin your adventure. As you step inside, you will find stroller rentals along with swarms of gators in the water. These first gators are a part of the Junior Jumparoo, a place where you have the opportunity to feed small gators, and right behind it is the Gator Jumparoo. Enjoy this show where they feed the gators, and you can see just how big these creatures are. If you happen to be hungry for the show, there are several snack carts, including Snack Bar and Ice Cream, around this famous show.
Next up, you will find the main walkway full of shops, photo ops, exhibits, and food options. In addition to more gators, other exhibits include parrots, snakes, Albino and White Gators, a petting zoo, and even Bobcats and a Capybara. Don't miss some sweet treats at Sweet Tooth's Sweet Shop, or a snack at the Popcorn Cart or Coffee Shop. Soon you will walk by a building where you can sign up to do the Ziplines, Screamin’ Gator Zip Line and Gator Gauntlet, where you can soar over the marshes throughout the park, for an extra fee, and along with a swamp home to Bonecrusher II. Ready to sit down for a little bit to watch a show? Next up on the walk is Upclose Encounters, where you get to see exotic animals from all over. Walk past, or perhaps stop by, Guzzling Gator Beer Garden before heading into the Swamp Walk.
This quiet trail under a canopy of cypress trees offers views of turtles, birds, and maybe even a gator peeking through the duckweed. Exiting the Swamp Walk brings you to Pearl’s Good Eats, where you can stop for lunch for their famous fried gator bites, burgers, and ice cream.
Continue down the main walkway and you’ll soon reach a fork in the road. Head to the left and you will find yourself at the Breeding Marsh and Observation Tower, where hundreds of alligators bask on the banks or lurk just beneath the water, or to the right, head into the Jungle Crocs of the World, full of impressively big crocs.
Coming out of the Jungle Crocs of the World, to your right, spot Gator Joes' a souvenir shop where you can also choose to pay for an extra, fun experience, Stompin' Gator, a 12-foot-tall Monster Truck that travels into the swamps past the main guest areas. To the left, see the hen house, full of foxes, or take a minute to marvel at the owls along the path.
Soon you will come up to the Gatorland Express Train, where you can enjoy a journey around the park before finding, to your left, a place to let the kids run around at the Gator Gully Splash Park and Playground, or enjoy more exhibits including Panthers, Giant Tortoise, Pythons, and Baby Gators.
End your loop back at the entrance, where you will exit through a massive gift shop for gator‑themed souvenirs.
