Overview

Space 220 is one of EPCOT’s most immersive dining experiences, built around the idea that you’re eating 220 miles above Earth aboard a space station. It’s a prix-fixe table-service restaurant with a polished sci-fi feel, modern American food, and sweeping “orbital” views that are really the main event.

Atmosphere

This one is all about the experience.

Expect:

A dramatic pre-show elevator ride

Huge celestial windows overlooking Earth

A sleek, futuristic dining room

More “space station” than “cartoony sci-fi”

The vibe is definitely upscale and immersive rather than playful or kid-chaotic.

Location: World Discovery – inside the Mission: SPACE pavilion, with the experience beginning in a “space elevator” that lifts guests to the Centauri Space Station.

Menu

Space 220 currently runs as a prix-fixe restaurant, with lunch including an appetizer and entrée, and dinner including an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Current menu examples include:

Blue Moon Cauliflower

Starry Calamari

Centauri Caesar Salad

Galactic Miso Salmon

Interstellar Steak & Frites

Mangala Roasted Chicken

Space Pad Thai

Orbit Filet Mignon

Lunar Carrot Cake

Stellar S’mores

Cosmic Cheesecake

There are also specialty drinks and cocktails, including options like Big Tang, Planetary Punch, Galaxy Spritz, and Up All Night.

Info

Cuisine: Modern American, prix-fixe dining

Price: $$$–$$$$ (currently $55 adult lunch prix fixe; $79 adult dinner prix fixe)

Dining Type: Table-service restaurant, reservations strongly recommended

Mobile Order: No – this is not listed as a mobile-order location; it operates as a reservation-based table-service restaurant.

Seating: Fully indoor dining room with panoramic “space” views

Allergen Notes: Disney notes that guests must speak to a Cast Member about allergy-friendly requests and that cross-contact cannot be guaranteed. The menu includes common allergens across various dishes, including dairy, gluten/wheat, sesame, soy, nuts, and seafood.

Tips

  • Best for guests who want the full themed experience, not just a quick meal.

  • If you’re booking this, treat it as part dining reservation, part attraction.

  • Dinner is the pricier option, so lunch can be the better pick if you mainly want the atmosphere.

  • This is a good special-occasion restaurant, but probably not the best “casual EPCOT day” choice if you are trying to stay flexible or budget-friendly.

The Good

  • One of the most immersive restaurants in EPCOT.

  • The arrival and views make it feel truly unique.

  • Menu is broader than just steak-and-fish “fancy restaurant” fare.

  • Feels memorable and special.

The Not-So-Good

  • Expensive, especially at dinner.

  • You are paying for the experience as much as the food.

  • Not ideal for guests who just want a quick, low-stress meal.

  • Can be a lot of buildup if your group is not into themed dining.

Conclusion

Space 220 is absolutely a “do it for the experience” restaurant. If you want one of EPCOT’s most memorable dining environments and do not mind the prix-fixe pricing, it delivers a very cool, very polished special-occasion meal.
