OIC Take
Mandi's Take
EPCOT is one of my favorite parks! From being able to visit the world in one location, to Test Track being my favorite ride, not to mention all the unique festivals throughout the year. This park always has something fun going on in addition to the rides, the shows, the attractions, and the amazing countries that allow you to explore some of the world's most iconic landmarks without having to hop on a plane. Plus, the walk from the parking lot is one of the easiest of all the parks, making EPCOT typically our go-to park when trying to choose.

EPCOT
Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, Walt's vision of bringing the world together in one spot. Start your travels at World Celebration, where EPCOT's iconic geodesic polyhedron greets all travelers. Whether you want to start your day exploring the souvenir shops like Gateway Gifts or Creations shop, grabbing a coffee or pastry at Connection Cafe, or taking a journey through the ages on Spaceship Earth, World Celebration has wonderful options for getting you off on the right track.
As we continue east, we can find ourselves worlds away in World Discovery. Hop on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind or Mission: Space to explore an iota of the vast expanse of the universe, or perhaps you would like to dine 220 miles above Earth at Space 220 Restaurant, and when you are ready to come back to earth, you can take a short walk to enjoy Test Track, where you can create your own car and enjoy Disney's fastest ride as you put your car to the test, hitting almost 65 mph.
If you happen to be at EPCOT during a festival, as you continue past Test Track, you will find The Odyssey open with Festival Food. Shortly past Odyssey comes World Showcase.
The big debate... Do you go towards Canada or towards Mexico? The choice depends on your priorities. There really isn't a wrong way, regardless of some very strong opinions from Disney fans, but we will make our way clockwise towards Mexico. With five different food and drink locations, a ride, and markets, not to mention the impressive 36-foot pyramid based on the Temple of Kukulcan, the attention to detail really brings you right into the middle of a city in Mexico.
The next pavilion you come across is Norway. Vikings, Trolls, Norwegian Mythology, and of course, Frozen can all be found in this area. Looking for character dining? Check out Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, or if you're looking for something quick and light, grab a pastry from the Norwegian bakery. And don't miss Elsa and Anna at the Royal Summerhus or on the Frozen Ever After ride!
Welcome to China! Experience the wonders of China in a 360-degree movie, showcasing some of the breathtaking views of past and present China. See Mulan, enjoy browsing through some authentic Chinese goods, or savor some food at Lotus Blossom Cafe or Nine Dragons Restaurant.
Next, stop by the Refreshment Outpost for a drink before continuing on to Germany. Grab a brat, pretzel, caramel popcorn, and other German favorites from one of the two restaurants or snack areas and browse the shops with cuckoo clocks, steins, wine and beers, and Christmas decorations.
When you think Italy, you think pasta, wine, and perhaps Venice, and the Italy Pavilion brings just that! With several restaurants offering Italian cuisine, like Tutto Italia Ristorante or Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria, shops where you can grab some wine, perfume, handbags and more, and iconic Italian views, such as the St. Mark's Campanile and gondolas, this pavilion bring the charms of Italy to America.
The American Adventure. Marking halfway through World Showcase, here we can find a show about America's history, several eateries, including a barbecue restaurant, Thanksgiving-inspired fare, and funnel cakes, and the Garden Theater.
Next comes the Japan Pavilion, featuring five different food and drink options, a huge shop filled with quintessential Japanese goods such as dishes, a selection of Japan's famous different flavored Kit Kats, Kimonos, and anime merch, along with peaceful gardens. The Japan Pavilion is sure to immerse you into the culture.
The Morocco Pavilion, unfortunately, is now just a shell of its former glory, as the original sponsors no longer operate the area; however, Disney is working on bringing it back. Although there is not much to do there during this change, several food options, shopping, and a museum is still available. Additionally, the opportunity to walk through the market streets and gaze at the amazing, intricate work throughout the pavilion offers a more quiet and delightful atmosphere.
Bonjour and welcome to the France Pavilion. With the Eiffel Tower looming in the background, the restaurants, bakeries, and shops lining the street leading up to the Eiffel Tower, you will forget you aren't in Paris. As you travel deeper into the pavilion, you will find shows, the Ratatouille Ride, and more eateries.
Walking past the International Gateway, which leads you to the Disney Skyliner that takes you to various hotels and Hollywood studios, you come up to the England Pavilion. Have some fish and chips at Rose and Crown or Yorkshire Fish Shop. Explore the numerous shops offering tea, biscuits, football kits, and merchandise from well-known British television shows. Plus, don't miss the band in the gardens at the back of the pavilion!
Oh, Canada, the final pavilion on our tour around the world. Walk up the steps or take the ramp to find the shops, enjoy the 360-degree show showcasing Canada's natural beauty, and savor a meal at Le Cellier!
Stop by the refreshment port or one of the souvenir shops before heading over to World Nature. Take a break from walking and watch a show with Disney animated shorts, ride with Figment, soar across the world, see how EPCOT is working on improving farm production, and enjoy some of the fresh foods at one of the two restaurants in the Land Pavilion. Then, take a ride with Nemo, see aquatic life in the aquarium, talk to Crush, and enjoy the magic of water in Journey of Water.
After a long day, make sure you take a beat and watch Illuminations, the nightly fireworks show in the middle of the lagoon of World Showcase, before calling it a day at EPCOT.
