Blizzard Beach
It may be hot out, but here, find remnants of a winter wonder land. Be greeted by chalets and sleds all ready for the snow as you walk into the park. Find what you need for a day at the water park to your left where the Beach Haus has clothes, towels, sunscreen and more. Ahead you can find the main dining lodge, Lottawatta Lodge. Following the path past the lodge, your eyes fall upon the highest point of Blizzard Beach, Summit Plummet on top of Mount Gushmore. Heading north, find more huts with sundries, food, drinks, and lockers before walking past Tike's Peak, where children under 48" can play in a Frozen themed water area.
Continue deeper into the park where you can find a chairlift to help guests to the top of Mount Gushmore, along with several food and snack locations, and the Ski Patrol Training Camp. Walking south from the Chairlift, guest will find Melt-Away Bay along with one of the entrances for Cross Country Creek, a lazy river circling the entire park.
Stop by the Polar Pub or Warming Hut for a snack or drink before ascending up the mountain for the entrances of all the water slides.
First water slides you will come up to are the Downhill Double Dipper, two water slides where you can race down in an innertube. Staying to the right of the path as we continue up, you will find Snow Stormers, and just past them, the Toboggan Racers, both slides that you race down headfirst on a sled.
If you stay to the left of the path, to your left you will find the entrance to Runoff Rapids, an innertube slide with three options. To your right, the Slush Gusher and Summit Plummet, two high-speed body slides at the peak of Mount Gushmore, though to get to Summit Plummet, you will need to walk up several more flights of stairs to reach its apex.
Finally, at the end of the trek is the family innertube slide, Teamboat Springs.
You are sure to have a cool, fun-filled day at Blizzard Beach!
