OIC Tips and Tricks

Reserve a Cabana.  Many perks come with it, plus it will  provide shelter from rain storms.

Reserved seating is a good choice for a location to keep belongs and relax while waiting.

Bring your own towels and sunscreen for a full day of fun in the sun and water.

Bring a soft-sided cooler with water for a hot day. No hard-sided coolers allowed.

Waturi Fusion ice cream flavors are banana, blue raspberry and strawberry swirl.

Universal Volcano Bay

     Take a bus to a far away place, while still staying in Orlando, as you walk through the tunnel and find yourself in a tropical paradise. Wander through thick foliage in Wave Village leading you to Waturi Beach and Wave pool, at the base of the mighty Krakatau Volcano. Water cascading down its face, this dormant volcano houses many secrets waiting to be discovered. Continuing to the right, you will find a shop full of souvenirs and supplies fit for a day in the water theme park, along with the Kohola Reef Restaurant & Social Club, full of sandwiches, and Polynesian food options, and the Dancing Dragons Boat Bar, with tropical drinks. To your left, find the entrances to several attractions, whether you are deciding to climb the steps to the top of the volcano to take on Ko'okiri Body Plunge,  enter The Reef, a leisure pool next to the exit of Ko'okiri Body Plunge, or head into the Kopiko Wai Winding River, find many things to add to your day of relaxation and watery adventures. 

     Walk across the bridge over the lazy river to River Village where to your right you will find Hona ika Moana, and to your left give the kids a spot to play at Runamukka Reef and Tot Tiki Reef. Enjoy a your stroll deeper into this paradise, where you can find Whakawaiwai Eats with a variety of pizza, mac and cheese, and more.

     As you continue your walk around the Volcano find yourself in Rainforest Village. You will find the queue to Krakatau Aqua Coaster to your left and to your right the entrance to Taniwha Tubes. Don't miss the opportunity for some tacos or nachos at The Feasting Frog, or a drink at Kunuku Boat Bar as you relax by the inlet for the TeAwa The Fearless River. Around the back of the volcano, find the Punga Racers to your left, and a pathway to your right leading to Maku Puihi Round Raft Ride. If all the swimming and rides have left you hungry, stop by Bambu, a restaurant with burgers and salads before entering back into Wave Village, where you can find to your right, Ohyah and Ohno Drop Slides and Puka Uli Lagoon, and to the left, the Kala & Tai Nui Serpentine Body Slides and the entrance to the Volcano Walk. 

     Finish the tour by stopping by Waturi Marketplace, for Volcano Bay Souvenirs and any sundries you may need for the rest of your day, along with Koka Poroka Ice Cream Kona, where you can get a Waturi Fusion, a novelty ice cream with a mix of banana, blue raspberry, orange, and strawberry ice cream, before heading out after a day of fun.
