If you want to maximize your time at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, having a plan makes all the difference. Here’s exactly how we did the party—timed, organized, and efficient.
🕑 2:30 PM — Arrive Early for Jack & Sally
Get to the front of Magic Kingdom around 2:30 PM.
Look for the clearly marked corral for party guests—you can’t miss the signs.
Bring essentials: umbrella, water, fans, cooling towels. You’ll be waiting awhile, and staying comfortable is key.
🕓 3:55 PM — Early Entry Begins
Cast Members usually begin letting party guests in around 3:55 PM.
Go straight to Town Square Theater on the right and join the line for Jack & Sally. (It’s clearly marked and inside in the left-side queue, when in doubt, follow the crowd.)
Skip Mickey for now—he isn’t in costume yet, and daytime guests are still cycling through his meet-and-greet.
🕓 4:00–6:30 PM — Characters, Rides, Collectibles & Photo Ops
Finish meeting Jack & Sally before the official party starts.
If you want a special sipper, get in line early (or send someone from your group). These can sell out fast.
Popcorn buckets are easier to find at multiple locations.
Exclusive MNSSHP merchandise is available for wristbanded guests only.
Use this time for special photo ops or rides.
🕖 7:00 PM — Party Kickoff
The party officially begins! Some food stands open slightly earlier, but now the full menu is available.
Catch the Cadaver Dans in Frontierland (7pm).
🕖 7:15 PM — Rusty Cutlass in Adventureland
Swing into Adventureland to enjoy Rusty Cutlass (7:15pm), the pirate band that brings rowdy sea shanties and fun audience banter.
Check out the Golden Oak Outpost and Pecos Bill's Menu's for special party food and drink items.
🕗 8:15 PM — Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade
Stake out a spot early, ideally on Near Frontierland. This way the Parade will be through quickly and you can move on for more party fun.
Don’t miss the Headless Horseman leading the way.
Also, the Hitchhiking Ghosts may make an appearance on the Frontierland Bridge before the parade.
Highlights include the Haunted Mansion grave diggers, Disney villains, and Mickey & friends in costume.
Liberty Tree Market for the Jack and Sally pops if desired.
You may have time now to get food from Pinocchio's Village House and take your food to stake out a spot for the Villain Spelltacular.
🕘 9:05 PM — Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
Head to Cinderella Castle Stage.
The Sanderson Sisters host this musical show with villains like Maleficent, Jafar, and Oogie Boogie joining the fun.
It’s high energy, funny, and one of the best stage shows Disney does all year.
Now you may have time to check out more special food items from Friars Nook, Cosmic Rays, the Lunching Pad, or Casey's Corner.
🕙 10:00 PM — Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Fireworks
Jack Skellington hosts the show as a life-sized puppet.
Expect castle projections, dramatic Halloween music, and some of the best fireworks of the year.
This is the must-see moment of the night—worth the crowd.
🕙 After Fireworks — Trick-or-Treat, Special Snacks, Meet& Greets, & Attractions
Trick-or-treating is extra rewarding after 10:00 PM.
Now’s the time to enjoy dance parties (Zom-Beatz in Tomorrowland, Disney Junior Jam at Cosmic Ray’s, or DJ Ringmaster hype sessions).
Fit in the ride overlays:
Space Mountain in pitch-black darkness with a spooky soundtrack.
Mad Tea Party under neon Halloween lights.
Haunted Mansion enhanced by live “spirit hosts” outside.
🕛 Midnight — Closing Time
As the party winds down, you’ll find trick-or-treat stations closing up, often giving heaping handfuls of candy to clear out their supply.
Main Street glows with festive lights as guests take last photos on the way out.
✅ The Key Takeaway: The trick is timing—line up early for rare characters you don't want to waste valuable party time waiting in line for, grab sippers and merch before they sell out, enjoy entertainment in sequence without zig-zagging across the park, get food items to go and eat while waiting for shows and save trick-or-treating (and some rides) for after the fireworks when lines and crowds are lighter.
