Water Rides
OIC Take
Mandi's Take
Though the ride vehicle can be slightly uncomfortable, and given the unusual position, can be anxiety inducing if left to sit too long, the concept proves Disney can still think outside the box and is an enjoyable, unique ride, that I suggest trying at least once!
Angie's Take
The ride vehicle is a bit awkward feeling, but overall the ride is very smooth and enjoyable. Those who do not like virtual reality rides be aware that this may be too intense.
Avatar Flight of Passage
Mandi's Take
This ride is one of my favorites in Animal Kingdom. The sudden acceleration, the twist and turns, and the incredible animatronics, all add up to a make a great ride. However, it is an extremely rough and bumpy ride, and can be painful or nauseating even for the most seasoned of riders.

Expedition Everest
Mandi's Take
A fun barge ride, that is a refreshing way to beat the heat. It is hard to not get wet on this ride, so it needs to be warm enough for me to consider this one, but with it being in Florida, there are few times when that is an issue. It is a little slow at times, but overall a great ride I recommend adding to your itinerary.
Angie's Take
Definitely a nice water ride. Some people walk away soaked, however I have only gotten slightly wet. I would not say this is a must do ride, but if you have time for it and don't mind the potential of getting soaked go for it.
Kali River Rapids
Mandi's Take
What I would consider one of the main reasons to come to Animal Kingdom. Seeing these animals up close never gets old! The animals make this ride always different, and you never know when a rhino may end up inches from you in the ride vehicle, which has happened to me once. Don't leave without riding this one!
Angie's Take
This is a must do ride. I honestly would plan my day around it. Early in the morning is usually the best time to see the largest variety of animals because they are more active before the heat of the day. It truly sets Animal Kingdom apart from the other theme parks.
Kilimanjaro Safaris
Mandi's Take
Ever since I watched Avatar, I thought it would be incredible to see the Bioluminescent foliage, and this did not disappoint in terms of a beautiful journey, however, this ride does have some lulls in the storyline, which makes it feel slow, and reminds me of a non-nostalgic version of Small World.
Angie's Take
This is a pretty ride, but definitely NOT a must do in my book as far as rides, however the theming is beautiful and fully immersive. If the line is short it can be a nice break from the heat of the day and gives a slower pace to reset your day at Animal Kingdom.
