One of the best shows on Disney property! It's fun, energetic, and interactive in all the right ways. The talent of the cast shines through with the amazing singing, dancing, and acrobatics, making it a truly one-of-a-kind show that is fun for all ages!
Angie's Take
This is hands down the best show in all of Walt Disney World! It brings audience participation along with some of the best music Disney has to offer. This is another must do for my day at Animal Kingdom.
Festival of the Lion King
Mandi's Take
A wonderfully artistic way of retelling the story of Nemo. The puppeteers give life to the performance while simultaneously blending into the background. Though not one of my favorite movies by Disney, the artistry has brought me to see the show several times.
Angie's Take
This is one of the most unique shows at Walt Disney World. The puppeteers are present without being distracting. While this is merely a retelling of Finding Nemo, the creative brilliance of this show makes it something I would highly recommend finding time to see.
Mandi's Take
Oh, what can I say about It's Tough to be a Bug? I first went to this show when I was quite young and had been traumatized by another 4-D show (not at Disney) not to long before. So, between the extreme hesitation about doing another 4-D show, and the fact that this one was quite scary for me as a child, I have never enjoyed doing this one. However, the concept is cute. Showcasing the bugs' talents in such a clever way, and the 4-D elements brings the visuals to life.

If you are walking by during a show, it is worth the couple minutes to stop and watch. I wouldn't go out of my way to fit this into the schedule though.

I stumbled upon this while leaving Animal Kingdom, and it is such a cool performance to watch! Now, every time I see it going on, I stop to watch. A stilts performer dressed as a vine, that brings plants to life. The fluid movements of the performance are exactly what I would expect from a vine, and it is a unique take that blends so well with The Tree of Life concept of the park.

This is a high energy beat and dancing found in the Harambe Village area of the park near Tamu Tamu Refreshments. There are several shows a day, all are earlier in the day check your MyDisney Experience for times.
Mandi's Take
This is a fun, lively street performance across from Flame Tree Barbeque. One of my favorite things to do at Animal Kingdom, outside of the Safari and DINOSAUR ride, is to grab lunch at Flame Tree Barbeque and when we time it right, we can listen to this band while eating and it really put me in a great mood. And though I do love this extra, there are a lot of other things to do at Animal Kingdom, so try and plan this as a walk-by and don't try to force it into the schedule.
