Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
The Sanderson Sisters bring wicked fun to Cinderella Castle with appearances from Disney’s most notorious villains. This show performs at 9:05pm, 10:35pm, and 12:00am (August 15 - September 26) and 7:35pm, 9:05pm, 10:35pm, and 12:00am (September 28 - October 31).🎶
Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade
One of the highlights of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, is the Mickey’s Boo-to-You Parade. A Halloween-exclusive spectacle that starts in Frontierland and marches down Main Street U.S.A. each evening at 8:15pm and 11:15pm. It’s widely considered one of Disney’s best parades thanks to its unique floats, rare character appearances, and an incredibly catchy soundtrack.
The parade begins with the Headless Horseman galloping down the parade route. An unforgettable moment that sets a perfectly eerie tone. If seeing Max dance like it’s 1995 is your top priority, Main Street is the place to be! Max dressed as Powerline only performs down Main Street.
Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular
The nighttime fireworks show is one of the most anticipated highlights of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Hosted by Jack Skellington, the show blends dazzling pyrotechnics, castle projections, and a sweeping soundtrack that shifts from eerie to whimsical.
The storyline follows Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy as they explore a haunted house filled with dancing skeletons, ghosts, and Disney villains. Each segment brings the castle to life with detailed projections transforming it into glowing jack-o’-lanterns, haunted forests, and swirling galaxies of color. Meanwhile, fireworks fill the sky in sync with the music, from dramatic bursts of green and orange to sparkling cascades that light up the park.
The Cadaver Dans

Among the most charming live entertainment offerings at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are the Cadaver Dans, a ghostly version of the beloved Dapper Dans barbershop quartet. Dressed in ghoulish attire with pale makeup and eerie lighting, they appear in Frontierland to serenade guests with Halloween classics and playful Disney tunes reimagined for the season.
Their harmonies bring an atmospheric touch to the party, blending lighthearted spookiness with Disney whimsy. Between songs, they entertain with witty banter and a touch of dark humor, creating an intimate experience that feels very different from the grand scale of the stage shows and parades. You can see them perform in Frontierland intermittently from 7:00pm - 10:55pm.
Rusty Cutlass

If you wander near Adventureland during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you may stumble across Rusty Cutlass, a lively pirate-themed band that brings swashbuckling energy to the night. Dressed in full pirate garb, they perform a mix of sea shanties, upbeat singalongs, and playful pirate banter.
Zom-Beatz Bash

In Tomorrowland, guests can join the high-energy Zom-Beatz Bash at the Rockettower Plaza
Stage. Inspired by Disney Channel’s Z-O-M-B-I-E-S movies, this interactive dance party features DJs, live performers, and costumed dancers that bring the music to life.
Disney Jr. Jam

For the youngest party guests, Disney Junior Jam inside Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café offers a lively character dance party designed just for kids. Disney Junior Jam is a can’t-miss for families with preschoolers, providing age-appropriate fun and memorable character moments that don’t require long lines or wait times.
DJ Ringmaster

Adding a playful carnival vibe to the evening,
the DJ Ringmaster hosts a lively dance party during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Dressed in a colorful ringmaster outfit, he brings high energy as he spins Halloween-inspired mixes and pop favorites, encouraging guests of all ages to hit the dance floor.
The Hitchhiking Ghost
Coming out to socialize, the iconic Hitchhiking Ghosts come to life during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. While they’re a staple in the parade, they also appear as live performers, delighting guests with playful interactions and hauntingly fun antics.

Dressed in their classic ghostly attire, Phineas with his carpetbag, Ezra tipping his top hat, and Gus clutching his ball and chain. They embody the spirit of The Haunted Mansion while wandering and occasionally posing for photos. Bridging the line between eerie and whimsical, they are often seen on the Frontierland bridge.
Special Attraction Overlays
During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, several Magic Kingdom attractions receive exclusive enhancements that add a seasonal twist:
Space Mountain - The entire ride operates in complete darkness, yes even darker than normal, with a Halloween-inspired soundtrack blasting through the speakers. The effect makes the roller coaster even more thrilling, as every twist and drop comes as a surprise.
Mad Tea Party - The classic teacup ride is bathed in eerie lighting and fog, cycling through deep purples, greens, and oranges while a spooky soundtrack sets the mood.
Haunted Mansion - While the ride itself remains unchanged, live performers outside the attraction enhance the atmosphere. Ghostly hosts linger on the lawn and at the entrance, entertaining guests with witty “spirit” jokes and haunting stares.
Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor - This show is transformed into a family-friendly trick-or-treat stop with a playful overlay. Guests enter the theater, where the resident monsters interact with the audience through their usual comedy routine, but with seasonal jokes.

🎃 Is Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Worth It?
For most guests, the answer is a resounding yes—if you go in with a plan. The ticket price is between $119 - $219 each, depending on the day, and you won’t be able to do absolutely everything in one night, but what you do get is unlike anything during regular park hours:
Exclusive Entertainment — The Boo-to-You Parade, Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, and Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks are some of the best shows Disney puts on all year.
Unique Character Meets — Rare characters like Jack & Sally, plus Mickey and friends in costumes you won’t see outside the party.
Seasonal Ride Overlays — Classic attractions like Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Mad Tea Party get fun, party-only twists.
All the Candy You Can Carry — Trick-or-treat trails throughout the park, with Cast Members especially generous later in the night.
Atmosphere & Extras — From the Cadaver Dans’ eerie harmonies to glowing Main Street lights, the park feels completely transformed.
✨ The real key? Pick your must-do experiences (your “Top 5”) and enjoy them without stressing about the rest. If you love Halloween, Disney magic, and a night that mixes both in a way no one else can, then yes—it’s worth it.
👻 When It Might Not Be Worth It
While Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is magical, it’s not for everyone. Here are some reasons why guests sometimes feel the price doesn’t match the experience:
The Cost 💸Tickets are pricey—especially for families or larger groups. If you’re already spending full days in the parks, the extra cost can feel steep.
You Can’t Do Everything ⏰Even with a plan, there’s simply not enough time to see every show, ride every overlay, meet every character, and trick-or-treat everywhere. Guests who expect to “do it all” may leave feeling rushed.
Crowds 👥Although the party has limited attendance, it can still feel crowded—especially along the parade route and in front of the castle. Families with little kids might find the congestion stressful.
Late Night Hours 🌙The party runs until midnight. For families with young children, it can be tough to keep everyone happy, awake, and enjoying themselves for the full event.
Day Guests vs. Party Guests 🎟️If you’ve already spent all day in the park, adding the party at night can lead to exhaustion and less enjoyment. Some guests say it’s better suited as a standalone evening event rather than tacked onto a long park day.
🎃 Picking Your Top 5: The Real Trick to the Treat
Here’s the honest truth: you can’t do it all. Between the parades, fireworks, shows, ride overlays, trick-or-treating, photo ops, rare character meets, and all the special food, you’d need two nights (and a time-turner) to squeeze in everything.
And that’s okay.
The trick to really enjoying Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is choosing your Top 5 must-dos before the night begins. Maybe that’s catching the Boo-to-You Parade, trying the Minnie Witch Hat dessert treat, meeting Jack & Sally, riding Space Mountain in total darkness, and dancing at Zom-Beatz. Or maybe it’s all about candy, candy, candy (no judgment).
By narrowing down what matters most to you, you take the pressure off and actually enjoy the party without sprinting across the park like you’re in a Halloween-themed marathon. Anything else you fit in feels like a bonus.
So, grab your wristband, stuff that candy bag, and pick your five. Because the magic of this party isn’t about doing it all—it’s about making memories you’ll actually remember.
