Entertainment is one of the biggest reasons to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Between the parade, fireworks, castle show, live music and dance parties, there is almost always something festive happening somewhere around Magic Kingdom.

The challenge is fitting everything into one night. Some entertainment is offered several times, while other experiences may only happen once or twice. This guide covers the major 2026 entertainment and offers tips for deciding what deserves a place in your party plan.

Last updated: July 26, 2026. Entertainment, locations and performance times may change throughout the party season.

Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade

Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade is one of the biggest highlights of the party. It

brings together Disney Characters, Haunted Mansion residents, dancing ghosts, gravediggers and villains in one lively Halloween procession. The Headless Horseman traditionally rides along the parade route shortly before the main parade begins, so be in place early if you do not want to miss him.

Parade highlights include:

🎃 Mickey, Minnie and friends dressed for Halloween

👻 Haunted Mansion ghosts and the spectral Bride

⚰️ Gravediggers with their sparking shovels

🦹 Disney villains and a festive Halloween finale

The parade is scheduled to run twice during the evening.

2026 Boo-to-You Parade Time

The first parade is scheduled for 8:15 PM with the second parade at 11:00 PM. The earlier parade is a good choice for families with young children or anyone who may not stay until midnight. It is also likely to attract larger crowds so the later parade may be easier to watch because some guests have already left the park. 🎃 Arrive early enough to see the Headless Horseman (usually 5 minutes or so prior to the parade)

Best Places to Watch the Parade

The parade begins in Frontierland, continues through Liberty Square, travels around the hub and finishes on Main Street, U.S.A.

Frontierland is a practical choice if you want to see the parade early and move on to another activity. 🎃 So consider Frontierland if you want to leave the area quickly after the parade.

Liberty Square provides a spooky setting and places you close to Haunted Mansion.

Main Street, U.S.A. offers the classic view with festive buildings and Cinderella Castle nearby, but it is often one of the most crowded viewing areas.

Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular

Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular is the party’s nighttime fireworks show. Jack Skellington hosts the adventure as Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy make their way through a mysterious haunted house.

The show combines:

🎆 Fireworks

🏰 Cinderella Castle projections

✨ Lighting and lasers

👻 Ghosts, skeletons and Disney villains

🎃 A Halloween story hosted by Jack Skellington

The show is normally presented once during the party, so it is important to plan the rest of your evening around it.

Best Place to Watch the Fireworks

The best overall view is usually from the hub or the central portion of Main Street, U.S.A. These areas allow you to see both the fireworks and the projections on Cinderella Castle. The area around Cinderella Castle can become extremely crowded before Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular. Disney typically marks designated viewing areas and keeps

taped walkways open for guests moving through the park. If you are uncomfortable in large crowds or do not like feeling surrounded, stay near the outer edge of a viewing area rather than moving into the center. Ask a Cast Member where the closest walkway or easier exit route is before choosing your spot.

🎆 Do not stand in a taped walkway. These paths must remain open, and Cast Members will direct guests into the designated viewing areas.

Fireworks Dessert Parties

Guests may reserve a separately priced dessert party that includes desserts, beverages and reserved viewing for Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular.

The options include:

Tomorrowland Terrace Viewing

Guests enjoy desserts and seated viewing from Tomorrowland Terrace.

Plaza Garden Viewing

Guests enjoy desserts at Tomorrowland Terrace and then move to a reserved standing area in the Plaza Garden.

We would choose one only if reserved viewing and a relaxed experience are high priorities.

Dessert parties can make fireworks viewing less stressful, but they also use a noticeable amount of limited party time.

Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular

The Sanderson Sisters take over Cinderella Castle Stage during Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. Winifred, Mary and Sarah attempt to create the ultimate Halloween party potion with help from Disney villains. The show includes music, dancing, projections, comedy and special effects.

Villains include:

🪄 Dr. Facilier

🎲 Oogie Boogie

🐉 Maleficent

🔥 Hades

🖤 Cruella De Vil

🐍 Jafar

🍎 The Evil Queen

Multiple performances are usually offered, making this show easier to fit into your evening than the fireworks.

Where to Watch Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular

The show is presented on Cinderella Castle Stage.

A central position gives you the best view of the performers and projections, but you do not necessarily need to stand close to the stage. Being a little farther back can make it easier to see the full production.

A Masquerade with Stitch

New for 2026, Stitch will host a changing masquerade at Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland. Lilo and Angel join him as the costumes and themes shift throughout the evening. The experience is designed as a playful character dance party rather than a formal stage show.

Location: Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland

Characters: Stitch, Lilo and Angel

Type of Entertainment: Character dance party

Best For: Families, Stitch fans and guests looking for flexible entertainment

Because the masquerade continues throughout the evening, it should be easy to enjoy between other activities.

Spirited Swashbucklers

Captain Jack Sparrow brings pirate antics to Adventureland during the party.

This is expected to be a shorter, more casual form of entertainment rather than a major stage production.

Location: Adventureland

Featured Character: Captain Jack Sparrow

Type of Entertainment: Pirate interactions and short performances

This is the kind of entertainment you may discover while walking through the land, so keep an eye out while visiting attractions, food locations or trick-or-treat trails nearby.

Destination DescenDANCE Party

Destination DescenDANCE Party returns to Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café.

The dance party features music and moves inspired by Disney’s Descendants movies.

Location: Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café

Theme: Disney’s Descendants

Best For: Children, teens and guests who enjoy dancing

This can also be a nice indoor break from crowds, heat or rain while still keeping the Halloween fun going.

The Cadaver Dans

The Cadaver Dans are the Halloween version of Magic Kingdom’s barbershop quartet.

They perform spooky songs and deliver plenty of deadpan humor in Frontierland. Their performances are shorter and more casual than the major shows, making them easy to enjoy while exploring the area.

Location: Frontierland

Type of Entertainment: Live vocal performance

Best For: Guests who enjoy live music, classic Disney entertainment and Halloween jokes. Do not rush past if you hear them singing. The Cadaver Dans are one of those smaller details that help make the party feel special.

Character Entertainment at Storybook Circus

Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Pluto are expected to appear at Storybook Circus during the party. These are character greetings rather than stage performances, but they add to the entertainment and atmosphere of the area.

Character lines can become long, so visit our MNSSHP Tricks, Treats & Party Extras Guide for more detailed planning advice.

Can You See Everything in One Night?

Realistically? No, but you can see most of the major entertainment in one evening. Trying to combine every show with characters, rides, food and trick-or-treating can quickly become overwhelming.

For a first visit, we would prioritize:

🎃 Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade

🎆 Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular

🧙 Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular

Then enjoy the Cadaver Dans, Stitch masquerade, pirate entertainment or dance party whenever they fit naturally into your route.

Tips for Watching MNSSHP Entertainment

🎃 Do not plan every minute of the night

🎃 Choose your preferred parade before arriving

🎃 Use smaller entertainment offerings to fill gaps

🎃 Pick viewing areas near your next activity

🎃 Allow extra walking time around the hub and Main Street

🎃 Keep weather delays in mind

🎃 Check My Disney Experience throughout the evening

Suggested Entertainment Plan

4:00 PM to 7:00 PM: Use Your Early Entry

Guests with a valid MNSSHP ticket can enter Magic Kingdom beginning at 4:00 PM, even though the party officially starts at 7:00 PM.

Use this time to:

🎃 Pick up your party wristband and event materials

🍽️ Eat dinner before the exclusive entertainment begins

🛍️ Shop for party merchandise

📸 Take photos while there is still daylight

🎢 Ride regular attractions

👑 Join the line for a high-priority character if that character begins meeting before 7:00 PM

👑 If meeting Jack Skellington and Sally is a top priority, go straight to their line as soon as you enter Magic Kingdom at 4:00 PM. They are traditionally among the most popular characters at MNSSHP, and waiting during the early-entry window can prevent a two-hour line from taking up the best part of your party night.

7:00 PM to 8:00 PM: Start With a Party Priority

Meet a character, try a specialty snack, visit a trick-or-treat trail or enjoy one of the smaller entertainment offerings. Stop for the Cadaver Dans, A Masquerade with Stitch, Destination DescenDANCE Party or the Adventureland pirate entertainment.

9:30 to 9:45PM: Watch the Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular

Find a spot near the hub with a clear view of Cinderella Castle and the parade route, then remain in the same general area for the fireworks, Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular and the second Boo-to-You Parade.

Final Thoughts

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party offers more entertainment than most guests can comfortably fit into one night. From the Headless Horseman and Haunted Mansion gravediggers to the Sanderson Sisters and Jack Skellington, the major productions are what make the party feel completely different from an ordinary evening at Magic Kingdom.

Orlando Is Cool recommends choosing your must-see shows, and activities. If you have little ones or don't want to stay until the end of the party, then allow the smaller performances to surprise you along the way. Stop for the Cadaver Dans, dance with Stitch or follow the sound of pirate trouble into Adventureland.

A little planning helps, but some of the best MNSSHP moments happen when you slow down and enjoy whatever spooky fun appears around the next corner. 🎃✨
